London, 4 July 2024: Vorboss, London’s leading provider of direct internet connectivity for business, has opened its new City of London office headquarters at Exchange Square, Liverpool Street to meet demand and support the continued growth of the company.

The 2,700 square metre office will house the company’s 24/7 Network Operations Centre in a highly-secure environment, ensuring around-the-clock operational excellence and support. More than 500 square metres of the new space is being made available to Vorboss customers and partners for working, meeting and networking.

The new facility was opened with an event hosted by Howard Dawber, London Deputy Mayor for Business and Growth, in collaboration with Business LDN. Representatives from more than 50 prominent London businesses attended the event, underscoring the importance of Vorboss’s role in the local business community.

Deputy Mayor for Business and Growth, Howard Dawber, commented on the occasion, “Vorboss is a great example of the type of infrastructure investment that is vital for the continued growth of London’s economy. The capital’s businesses need reliable and high-capacity fibre to thrive in today’s digital age, as we continue to work to together to make the capital better and fairer for everyone.”

Vorboss recently created 60 new London-based account management roles to deliver on the rapid growth in demand for high-capacity, reliable internet. The expanded team will specialize in supporting customers in key industries, including media, broadcast, finance, healthcare, hospitality, hotels and fitness.

Tim Creswick, CEO of Vorboss: “This new space – close to our network and our customers – will support our continued growth, meeting the demand that’s out there for high-capacity, reliable internet. We’ll be able to better serve our customers and partners by opening up our office to them – this is a place where London businesses can meet, work and collaborate.”

Always on the side of London’s businesses, in April, Vorboss wrote to Ofcom to encourage the introduction of an automatic compensation scheme for fixed business connectivity providers, to introduce competition around quality and help improve the performance of business connectivity networks. Vorboss has also offered to be a founding member of the scheme as it leads the way with a four-minute downtime automatic compensation guarantee.

Vorboss owns and runs its own network offering speeds of 10Gbps and 100Gbps directly to business customers, with a 25Gbps plan available via channel partners. More than 250 technicians and engineers have trained in-house at the company’s academy, and more than a third of Vorboss’ field technicians are women. The London-based team is able to reach any of its customers in 20 minutes.
